How do we know what your building needs? Testing and experience. We test to diagnose the problem, do the repairs, and test again to be sure the cause was corrected. Air Barrier Solutions can diagnose your buildings with ASTM-standard testing methodologies using a range of professional diagnostic tools. We currently have a stable of 15 wireless or cat-5 networked fans. You can use our testing results in your measurement and verification program and to document savings for utility and other rebate programs.

We go beyond the easy fixes. If the building needs it, we will do it and do it well. We do not skip things because they are hard. We do not apply one-size-fits-all materials. If your doors are bronze, black, or green, we will not sell you all mill-finish weatherstrip because it is easier for us to spec and cheaper for us to stock just one kind. We will even offer custom colors if you desire. Our focus is you, not us.
All of our weatherstripping is hand-picked for the specific application it will face. Whether it is intumescent on a fire-star door, custom fuzzy-replacement, or standard door-mounted carriers, we select robust weatherstripping for your site that is able to adjust to seasonal variations and is durable enough to withstand high duty cycles in hard-use environments. And we will test it to be sure it really stops the air.

Air Barrier Solutions' foundation is zero-defect work. Our proprietary Quality Assurance System (QAS) utilizes Training Within Industry (TWI) concepts. TWI, used by quality-leaders such as Toyota, was most famously used during World War II. Industry re-tooled and inexperienced workers filled vacancies left by soldiers entering the armed forces. TWI enabled this to happen quickly and to great success.
